Stock Work

We are using the services of Bill Sporicich to make custom wood stocks for those customers that prefer the look and feel of wood stocks.

We also offer synthetic stocks from McMillan Fiberglass Stocks,  H-S Precision Inc., and D&B Supply.

We are currently using laminated wood stocks from both Richard's Microfit Gunstocks, Inc., and Boyd's Gunstock Industries, Inc.

We will be happy to use a gunstock made by your favorite supplier as long as it is rigid.

Pillar Bed Rifle

The pillars are made of 7076 T6 aircraft grade aluminum for each individual rifle.  The stock is inletted so that action/barrel assembly is only in contact with the pillars & the back side of the  recoil lug.  The pillars and the back side of the recoil lug are bedded in Pro Bed 2000.  The barrel is free floated.

$200.00

Bedding Block

Recommended for long range, varmint or competition rifles.  This bedding process requires extensive inletting and machine time, but offers the highest rigidity, and receiver/barrel assembly resonance of any bedding offered.  The block is a 2 piece design - 4" long, and  the base attaches to the stock using 8 each helicoiled (into the stock) socket head grade 8 bolts making it removable.  A hole is bored into the block the exact diameter of the barrel shank, and the top saddle of the block is attached to the base by 8 each socket head bolts.  The remainder of the barrel, and the receiver assembly are free floated.  This method eliminates receiver flex.

This block has a black anodized finish, and is designed to fit the McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, Inc. A-5 Tactical Sniper stock with a barrel shank diameter of 1.25".

This block is mounted in a McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, Inc.,  Bill Shehane designed, bench rest stock.  This block will accept a 1.45" barrel shank.
