Rifles - Custom Built & Accurizing
Factory Rifles
We specialize in building extremely accurate
custom bolt action rifles to the customers shooting discipline or field
application. We will build on a customer supplied action, or will be happy
to provide you with what we feel would be an appropriate action. Barrel
and rifle stock options are virtually limitless these days. Some
manufactures market quality products with the rest falling into the category of
mediocre to inferior. We will only use components of the highest quality
to build rifles with our name on them. The maximum tolerance allowed on
all of our custom built rifles is 0.0001".
Gunsmithing & Repair Service
We have been able to lure Bill Cole away from
the Gander Mountain Gunsmith Shop in Merrillville, IN to run the gunsmith/armorer
and repair services for us here at MPI. This guarantees that gunsmithing
and repairs will be done expertly and in a timely fashion. Please feel
free to call us for a quote if you have a repair, or a custom option that you
would like to have done to your firearm.

Rates
I do not increase my rate for
‘machine time’ or welding. I figure that knowing how to weld, run a
lathe or mill, heat treat, and all the other miscellaneous and
sundry things one must know to be a gunsmith are all part of the
trade.
I usually don't charge for phone or
email questions, unless it gets wordy or windy. Please feel free to
call with questions. If I can help you over the phone, I will.
All
prices quoted are estimates only.
Varying interpretations of the
firearms condition, difficulty of the work performed, machine set
up and run time, assembly and disassembly all affect the final price
of the work that you request.
