Sniper
rifle built for Eric Sorensen chambered in 308 Winchester Match.

Rifle
built for Jim Owens of
National Match Rifle Rests, Inc.

This
is a Smith & Wesson Model 66 .357 Magnum caliber revolver that was
an issue duty weapon for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The weapon has been rebuilt, re-timed and had new springs installed.
Custom work includes a trigger job, removal of the front sight, the
hammer has been bobbed and a
Hogue Monogrip has been installed.

Pat
Walsh and his Remington 700 chambered in 22/250 Remington Match. The
stainless steel receiver assembly has been cryoed, heat stress
relieved, blue printed & the bolt raceway line bored out to .7050"
with a custom built bolt .7035" diameter and a Sako extractor,
extended bolt handle & bench rest firing pin assembly installed. The
trigger is a Jewell (10 oz). The barrel is a McGowen Rifle Barrels,
Premium Grade, 416 crucible SS, 1/8" twist, tapered to 1.0" muzzle
diameter, finished length 28". The stock is an
HS Precision Varmint
and the barrel is glued into the stock and the
receiver/trigger/bottom metal assembly has been free floated. The
Leupold riflescope &
Scoplevel (anti cant device) is attached to the
rifle with Talley rings and bases.

Remington 700 Police Sniper in 308 Winchester owned by Officer
Anthony Milton of Riverdale Police Department, Riverdale, IL. The
barreled action assembly has been accurized and the barrel was cut
at 18" finished length, providing 2637 fps to 2679 fps (Oehler Model 35P Proof
Chronograph) with 168 grain Federal Gold Medal Match. The 168
grain Black Hills was slightly faster. The trigger is a rebuilt and
re-sprung Remington 700 trigger assembly set at 3 lbs. The stock is
an HS Precision Tactical reworked to bed the barrel & free float the
receiver assembly.

Kyle
Mayhall with his accurized Browning A Bolt Hunter chambered in 270
Winchester Match. The receiver/barrel assembly has been cryoed, heat
stress relieved and the the receiver/bolt assembly was machined
(receiver & bolt face trued, receiver & bolt locking lugs trued).
The trigger was reworked and set at 2 lbs. The barrel is a factory
Browning, button rifled Sporterweight @ 22" finished length. The
barrel was then hand lapped, re-crowned, barrel set back
approximately .10", re-chambered to minimum headspace. The metal
parts were powder coated in both matte grey & black. The stock was
stripped, sealed, refinished, pillar bedded and a recoil reducer &
Pachmayr Decel pad were installed. The

618-V1 rifle scope &
Scoplevel are attached to the rifle using
Talley rings & bases.

M24
Sniper Rifle chambered in 308 Winchester Match built for a
military/security sub-contractor (un-named for security reasons)
working in Afghanistan. This is a cryoed & heat stress relieved and
then blue printed, Remington 700 BDL/SA receiver assembly with a
Sako extractor and a Jewell trigger (2.5 lbs). The barrel is a free
floated McGowen Rifle Barrels, Premium Grade, 416 crucible SS, 1/10"
twist, tapered to .900" muzzle diameter, finished length 26". All
metal parts finished with Birdsong Industries Black T finish in flat
olive drab and flat black. The stock is a pillar bedded
McMillan A5
with an adjustable cheek piece and adjustable for length of pull.

Charles Clement is at the ISRA Range, Bonfield, IL., with his
Remington 700 BDL/LA chambered in 300 Remington Ultra Magnum Match.
The receiver assembly has been cryoed, heat stress relieved, blue
printed, with a Sako extractor, bench rest firing pin assembly and rebuilt
Remington 700 trigger assembly (2.5 lbs). The barrel is a
Shilen
Inc., Select Match Grade, SS, 1/10 twist, #11 Straight Bull 1.20" X
28" finished length, 6 straight flutes. All metal parts are powder
coated flat black. The laminated wood stock is from
Boyd's Gunstock
Industries, Inc. There are 2 recoil reducers in the buttstock & a
Pachmayr Decel pad was installed. The barrel is bedded & the
receiver assembly is free floated. The
Shepherd Enterprises, Inc.,
618-V1 riflescope &
Scoplevel is attached to the rifle with
Talley
rings & bases.

Rifle built for Steve
DeMarte. Remington 700 BDL chambered in 338 RUM Match @ minimum
headspace. The rifle is barrel bedded with the receiver free
floated. Blue printed receiver, bolt raceway line bored to .7050”
diameter & a custom made bolt @.7035” diameter, Sako extractor,
extended tactical bolt handle & knob,
Tubb
recoil lug, re-built & re-sprung Remington 700 trigger assembly
set at 2.5 lbs, and an external bolt stop are installed. The barrel
blank used is a McGowen Premium 416R Stainless Steel in a 1/10”
twist rate, finished @ 28” long with a 1.200” diameter bull barrel
contour. Finish coat is matte black powder coat. The stock is a
rosewood laminate blank from
Richard’s
Micro-Fit Gunstocks, Inc. that was inletted by us to accept the
barrel & free float the receiver, and then sanded & finish coated. 2
Edward's Recoil Reducers & a
Pachmayr
Decel Pad were installed to reduce felt recoil. 2
Uncle Mikes
sling swivel studs were installed. The rifle scope is a
Shepherd
V1-6X18X40 with a
Scoplevel
anti-cant device mounted in
Talley
rings & bases.


Rifle built for Andrew
Bruns. Remington 700 chambered in 6mm Ackley Improved (.272" neck
diameter) @ minimum headspace. The receiver has been cryoed and
heat stress relieved, blue printed & the bolt raceway has been
line bored oversized to .7050" diameter, and a custom made bolt @
.7035" with a Sako style extractor, a bench rest firing pin
assembly, and a tactical extended bolt handle & custom bolt knob
are installed. The trigger is a Jewell Custom Bench Rest set at 4
ounces. The barrel is a McGowen, Premium Grade, 416R Stainless
Steel, 1/12" twist rate, 1.350" diameter straight bull @ 28" to
the muzzle crown, with a Vias Muzzle Brake installed, with a bead
blasted finish. The stock is a
McMillan
fiberglass that we inletted, installed a barrel bedding block, 2
Edwards recoil reducers, a
Pachmayr
Decel Pad, and finish sanded. The receiver/barrel assembly is
entirely free floated, other than the 4" of the barrel that is in
the barrel bedding block. The base is a Davidson and the rings
are
Kelbly 20 MOA. The scope is a
Nightforce Optics, 12-42X56, NP-1RR lighted reticle.
